Boarding Terms and Conditions
Fees

The boarding fee is based on the number of night’s stay.

A deposit of £15, payable within 24hours of submitting a booking form is required to secure a reservation.

The balance is to be paid on arrival. You can pay by card or cash. If the balance is not paid up-front, check-in may be refused.

We do not accept cheques.

The whole amount of your pet’s stay is payable based upon the dates reserved, irrespective of actual length of stay.
*We have a strict daily schedule and dogs arriving before kennels are vacated or departing late need to be supervised which leads to extra staffing costs
Cancellation

Cancellations should be via an email or letter, otherwise the full amount will be payable.

The deposit is fully refundable if cancelled up to 30 days before the first night’s board, inclusive.

If you cancel 20 days after registering your pet's/s' stay there will be a £15 administration fee.

If you cancel less than seven (7) days before the check-in date the full amount is payable.

If you cancel less than fourteen (14) but more than seven (7) days before the check-in date, 50% of the full amount is payable.
Health and Vaccinations
Vaccines must not have been administered less than 10 days prior to the check-in date.

All dogs must be fully vaccinated and up to date, and with flea and worm treatment otherwise your dog/s may not be allowed to check-in.

A copy of your dog’s vaccination card must be provided at registration, with the original to be shown at check-in.

Pregnant dogs will not be accepted.

If your dog/s is in season or due to come into season during their stay. You must advise us at registration stage.

Mind Your Paws reserve the right to obtain veterinary advice and subsequent treatment if there are any concerns with your dog/s health. All costs will be added to your final bill.

If your dog is found to have an infectious disease or infestation, we reserve the right to house your dog in our isolation facility and seek veterinary advice and treatment if necessary. All costs will be added to your final bill.

Any oral or topical medication will be given as per your written instructions.

Medicines must be in the original veterinary packaging with your dog’s name and the dosage clearly visible. Enough medication must be left for the duration of your dog’s stay plus extra in case of a delay in collection.

Mind Your Paws accept no responsibility for ill health or injury due to your dog’s behaviour.

Mind Your Paws cannot be held responsible for loss from illness or pre-existing conditions.

Mind Your Paws reserve the right to refuse any dogs that are not in good health.
Other

Public liability insurance is provided although we reserve the right to excercise this option for accidents only and not for the consequences of your dog's aggression. It is always advisable that dogs are individually insured by their owners.

Any accessories (toys, blankets) the dog comes with are left at the owner’s risk.

Dogs must be kept on a lead during the check-in and check-out process.

Mind Your Paws accepts no responsibility for loss or injury in their car park.

Mind Your Paws reserve the right to rehome any dogs not collected within seven calendar days of the stated departure date if no communication from the owner is received, and if efforts to contact the owner fail.

Owners will be liable for boarding fees until their dog/s leave Mind Your Paws premises. The owner will be charged £200 per dog for administration if we have to be involved in rehoming.

Mind Your Paws reserve the right to refuse any dog. If a dog becomes aggressive to any member of staff or member of the public (or bites). Mind Your Paws reserve the right to cancel all reservations without prior notice at the owner’s expense, and refuse further reservations.

Reservations made for more than one dog from the same household will share a room together, unless otherwise advised by the owner. Mind Your Paws reserve the right to separate dogs during their stay should it be necessary.

Any vet bills must be paid in full at check-out.
Data Protection
Mind Your Paws retain essential customer data for business purposes only, and do not share any customer’s data with anyone. Mind Your Paws will call and/or email owners for kennel business only. Mind Your Paws will never keep bank details on file. Owners can request, at any time, to remove their personal details, which are held on file.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions owners are confirming they are happy for Mind Your Paws to use photographs of your dogs on our website and social media.
